Message from the company : Each year we process thousands of kilos of British wool; every spin leaves an excess amount of material that would usually wind up as ‘waste’. We love our wool, and we don’t like waste! So, we’ve given it the revival it deserves.

We start by collecting all this valuable and perfectly good fibre which is gathered after each clean down of our spinning frames.  Next, we send it to our local production partner to card, comb and convert back into tops before it arrives back at our mill for spinning. This spun yarn then heads out again to be dyed locally, and once dyed, it’s back to us for finishing, balling and packing. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and all of this takes place within a 10-mile radius – something which we’re extremely proud of. 

Composition: 80% Recycled British Wool, 20% Recycled Nylon
Weight / yardage: 3.6 oz (100 g) = approx 246 yds (225 meters)
Recommended needle size: US # 6/4 mm
Gauge: 22 sts x 28 rows = 10 cm
Washing care: Machine wash 30°. Re-shape whilst damp. Do not tumble dry.
