Vulkan Shawl | Knitting Kit

Here is the latest design of Lanja Khon-engheim, the Vulkan Shawl.

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDE

• The Vulkan Shawl knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
• BISCOTTE YARNS  - BLING [92% merino wool sw, 5% polyester nepps, 3% lurex; 400 m par 100 g] - 3 SKEINS - shown in Nature

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL

• Circular needles of 3 mm (US 2.5) – 100 cm (40") - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• Circular needles of 2.5 mm (US 1.5) – 100 cm (40") - or size required to obtain the gauge.
• The edging is knitted with circular needles and DPN'S of 2.5 mm (US 1.5).
• Extra circular needles 3 mm or 2.5 mm, 80 cm long (for picking up sts).
• Crochet hook of 3 mm (Size D) for provisional cast-on.
  
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch holder for provisional cast-on

SIZE - ONE SIZE

Finished measurements: Width: 80 cm (31.5”) Length: 160 cm (63”)

GAUGE

22 sts = 10 cm (4") over garter stitch, blocked.

NOTE

The scarf is knitted in two parts and grafted at the center. The first 4 sts and last 4 sts of every row are selvedge sts. These sts are not shown on the charts. Work the first 4 sts as sl1wyif, k3. Work the last 4 sts as k4. The written version of the charts is at the end of the pattern.
