Sun Rise and Shine Socks | Knitting Pattern and Optional Kit

Introducing the Sun Rise and Shine socks designed by Andrea Yetman! Made with our hand-dyed yarn, Super-sock, these socks are more than just a fashion statement; they provide warmth and comfort for those chilly days and nights.

The Sun Rise and Shine socks were inspired by the yarn that I had the privilege to have a part of in the dying process while visiting the Biscotte Dye Studio in Montreal.
The name of this yarn was called Andrea, and I am so honored that this yarn has remained in the beautiful color collection. I designed these socks during my birthday month, so I wanted to make a special sock to dedicate to my Biscotte family, who have been so wonderful to me over the years. The lace motif on the outer edge of the legs represents a rising sun, and the dots represent sparkle and shine that beams from the sun on a warm summer’s day.
I hope you love making these socks as much as I enjoyed designing them. Thank you to my Biscotte family for allowing me to do what I love so very much!

• LOUISE ROBERT COLLECTION - SUPER SOCK [75% merino wool sw, 25% nylon; 400 m per 100 g] - 1 SKEIN - shown in Andrea

IN ADDITION TO THIS KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles of 2.5mm (1.5 US) - cable lenght of 80 cm (32”) - Or size required to obtain gauge.
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

SIZES - ADULT

Small (Medium, Large)

Length of foot: adjustable.

GAUGE

36 sts = 10 cm – 4” in Stockinette Stitch

NOTE

These socks are knit from the cuff down with a heel flap. A beautiful lace pattern is worked on the outer edge of the legs, and a simple texture pattern is worked throughout.
