Seascape Socks | Free Knitting Pattern and Optional Kits

We're happy to present a new version of this beloved pattern by Andrea Yetman! The Seascape Socks have been re-knitted using two gorgeous hand-dyed colors of PatricKnits Bis-Sock yarn.

"The Seascape Socks were inspired by a sweater I designed a few years ago, the Seascape Pullover. The Seascape Socks share all the same details I love about the sweater. The cuffs are knit in a twisted rib cable pattern with colorwork throughout the entire sock, all to mimic a whale’s tail!" - Andrea

The pattern has been revised and improved for its anniversary! We’ve included the written version of the ribbed cuff alongside the original chart to accommodate all knitters. The pattern also includes two heel options: heel flap and forethought heel – all complimentary! 💗

You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!

IN ADDITION TO THIS KNITTING KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS

• Circular needles (or DPN) of 2.5mm (1.5 US) - cable lenght of 80 cm (32”) - Or size required to obtain gauge.
• Cable Needle

• Waste yarn

Length of foot: adjustable.

GAUGE

36 sts = 10 cm – 4” in Stockinette Stitch

NOTE

The Seascape Socks are knit from the top down with a twisted rib cable pattern on the front of the cuff and an allover Stranded Colorwork pattern. Andrea suggest you use the Forethought Heel for a woman and the Heel Flap for men.
