Pretty Ribbons Pullover | Knitting Pattern and Optional Kits

The Pretty Ribbons Pullover by Andrea Yetman is a true testament to the beauty of the yarn we work with! Each combination is simply stunning, and our latest project featuring this exquisite piece was created using our Merica yarn doubled with our Kid Silk.

Let me tell you, the results are nothing short of spectacular! This pullover not only showcases the intricate designs but also highlights the luxurious texture and warmth of the yarns, making it a delightful addition to any collection.

Inspired by a holiday song I love very much, “Pretty Paper”, I decided to knit this circular yoke with textured stitch designs. The combination of easy to knit stitches reminded me of the pretty ribbons and bows we use to wrap a gift for that special someone. - Andrea Yetman

  • Circular needles | Main Fabric | 6mm (US 10) - cable length of 80 cm (32”) and preferred needles for small circumference knitting - or the size required to obtain the gauge.
    
  • Circular needles | Ribbing | 4.5 mm (US 7) - cable length of 80 cm (32'') and preferred needles for small circumference knitting - or 1.5 mm less than the size required for the main fabric.
• WITH DK PURE :

GAUGE

• WITH SUPER SOCK + HERMIONE (OR MERICA + KID SILK) : 17sts and 24 = 10 cm (4”) using larger needles on Stockinette stitch.
• WITH DK PURE : 21sts and 27 rows = 10 cm (4”) using larger needles on Stockinette stitch.

NOTE

Pretty Ribbons is knit seamless from the top down in a circular yoke construction and meant to be worn with 4 – 6 inches of positive ease. For reference, the samples in the photo are worn with 5 inches of positive ease. Follow the charts for your size and yarn weight. The sample that is knit double stranded with Hermoine and Super Sock is knit on larger needles so that the finished garment is light and airy. The stitch patterns are written and in chart form at the end of the pattern.
