Prelude Knitting Sock Pattern

Biscotte Yarns officially presents the July 2019 Sock Club pattern. This pattern was created by Louise Robert.

"Here is a reversible and repetitive geometric pattern that is easy to memorize and knit. Shown here in classic colors, I can also see it looking very nice knit in bright and festive colors." - Louise

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Prelude sock:

• Louise Robert Design – Super Sock (75% merino sw, 25% nylon; 400 meters per 100 gram skein). Color A 50g of semi-solid (Shown in Traviata) Color B 50g of speckled (Shown in Parchemin)
• Circular needles or double-pointed in 2.5 mm and 2.75mm (or size required to obtain gauge)
• Tapestry needle

Gauge: 32sts = 10 cm in stocking st with 2.5mm needles

Size: female / adult circumference. Adjustable foot length.

Notes : This pattern can be knit with a set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles. In the case of double-pointed needles, spread half of the stitches on needles 1 and 2 and the other half of the stitches on needles 3 and 4.
