Moutons en vacances Socks | Knitting Pattern and Optional kit

Released in 2009, this pattern by Sylvie Pepos was one of the first projects for our Mystery Sock Club and remains a beloved favorite! ♥

Moutons en vacances, which means "sheep on vacation" in French, looks stunning in semi-solid, speckled, and self-striping yarn. It just shows that sheeps are always happy when they go on holiday! This pattern is worked from the cuff down with a heel flap. The leg and instep are adorned with a lovely stitch pattern that continues seamlessly on the tips of the toes.

You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed to knit this project!

THIS KNITTING KIT INCLUDE

• The Moutons en vacances Socks knitting pattern (sent as a digital pdf format) - The pattern is included when you purchase a kit.
• BISCOTTE YARNS - BIS-SOCK [85% merino wool sw, 15% nylon; 400 m per 100 g] - 1 SKEIN (in self-stripping colorway) - shown in West Virginia

IN ADDITION TO THIS KIT, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIAL

• Circular needles of 2.5 mm (US 1.5) - cable lenght of 80cm (32'') for magic loop - or size required to obtain the gauge.
  
• Tapestry needle

• Cable needle

SIZE - ADULT ONE SIZE

The length of the foot is adjustable.

GAUGE

32 stitches = 10 cm; 4" in stockinette stitch.
