This simple hand-dyed superwash yarn is the little sister of Malabrigo's very popular Mecha yarn. Mechita is ideal for shawls, scarves and sweaters. With its smooth finish, it is an ideal yarn for knitting and complex stitches.

• Composition: 100% superwash merino wool
• Weight / Yardage: 3.6 oz (100 g) = approximately 420 yds (384 meters)
• Recommended needle size: US#1-2 / 2.5-2.75 mm
• Gauge: 26-30 sts = 10 cm
• Care: Machine washable, delicate cycle, cold water, no tumbling, dry flat.

Please note that Malabrigo does not provide dye lot numbers, so it is important to alternate rows when knitting for best results.
